Dr Rebecca Forrester
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde;
My name is Dr Rebecca Forrester and I’m a Clinical Psychologist working in a Community Mental Health Team in Greenock for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. I studied my undergraduate psychology degree at Edinburgh University and completed my clinical training at Liverpool University. I am particularly interested in how we can better promote the voices of those with lived experiences and how systems of support can make better space to include those who can be marginalized by routine ways of working. During my training in Liverpool, I was fortunate enough to have opportunities to develop my research and clinical interests in homelessness and brain injury. I worked with fantastic colleagues to begin our ever-evolving project NeuroTriage to promote access and engagement to brain injury assessment and follow-on support for those facing homelessness.
