Dr Peter Cockersell is a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, Chief Executive of CHT (Community Housing and Therapy, which runs psychologically informed therapeutic communities for people with diagnoses of psychosis and/or personality disorder), and a Lecturer in the University of Surrey’s Department of Psychology. Peter has worked in homelessness for over 25 years both as a senior manager and a clinician; he was formerly Director of Health & Recovery for St Mungo’s, and was one of the co-authors of the national guidance on Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE).
