Dr. Chris Sargeant is a GP who has worked in Primary Care services for people who are homeless since 1998. He was the first chair, and is now is a director, of ARCH Health Community Interest Company, which was founded to provide integrated homeless health services in Brighton and Hove, and he has been the Clinical Lead for the Brighton Pathway Team since 2012. He is a Pathway Education Fellow, Chair of the Faculty Education Committee, and honorary senior lecturer on the UCL Homeless and Inclusion Health MSc module.
Chris is senior lecturer at Brighton and Sussex Medical School where he teaches, and supervises research projects for, undergraduate and post-graduate students in areas such as primary care for people who are homeless, health inequalities, and alcohol and drug dependence issues.
He is currently working with Pathway on a project aimed at increasing the number of Pathway hospital teams.
