Dr Gemma Ashwell works as a GP at Bevan Healthcare in central Bradford where her main clinical interests are in the care of people experiencing homelessness and those who are in the UK as refugees or seeking asylum. Gemma is the clinical lead of the Bradford Street Medicine Team, which takes healthcare out to homeless people where they are in the city. Gemma’s other main interest is in medical education and she works as a Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Academic Unit of Primary Care at the University of Leeds.
