Homeless Support Team, Bristol Royal Infirmary
Jenny Schaefer is a GP working in central Bristol. She has worked at the Salvation Army detox unit and HMP Bristol as well as at the Homeless Health Service in Bristol. She was part of the Homeless Support Team (Pathways) pilot at Bristol Royal Infirmary and currently works as GP for the two Alcohol Clinics held in homeless drop-ins in the city. More recently she has begun accompanying outreach workers onto the streets of Bristol to engage individuals who don’t normally access healthcare.
