Helena is a Population Health Fellow at East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) and a GP trainee in Tower Hamlets. Her population health work focuses on collaboration with ELFT inclusion health GP practices to understand the health needs of people experiencing homelessness to inform evidence-based service improvement.

Helena is committed to tackling health inequities across East London. Her clinical work has highlighted how the wider determinants of health impact individuals, populations and health systems, and the barriers to accessing healthcare services faced by people experiencing homelessness. These experiences have strengthened her motivation to drive change at a population health level for marginalised groups.
