Dr Sian Hughes

Forensic Psychologist

Dr Sian Hughes is a Registered Forensic Psychologist with Crisis Homelessness, where she supports the development of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) across the Crisis Skylight centre in South Wales. She has extensive experience working with adults affected by trauma, psychological distress, health conditions, substance misuse, and difficulties engaging with services.
Sian’s career spans forensic, clinical, and community settings. In her current role, Sian provides training and consultation across teams, service development, and direct psychological support aimed at reducing barriers to services and providing compassionate care to those who are marginalised and excluded. She is particularly focused on creating environments that promote safety, trust, and dignity, and on shaping services that can adapt to the complex realities of the people they serve. Sian works closely with frontline staff, partner agencies, and people experiencing homelessness to strengthen pathways into health and wellbeing provision in the Swansea area.
