Dr Wan-Ley Yeung
GP Clinical Lead, Salford Primary Care Together Inclusion Service
Dr Wan-Ley Yeung is a GP working at Salford Primary Care Together (SPCT), Willow Tree Practice in Greater Manchester. He also works as a Special Allocation Service (SAS) doctor for Salford and Trafford and is the Clinical Lead for the SPCT Inclusion service, who won Team of the Year 2024 at the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care awards.
He holds the position for NHS Greater Manchester as Children and Young People’s lead in the Salford locality, where he works strategically with the aim to prevent childhood traumas, divert youth from the justice system, and break the cycle of homelessness. He does peer review and is involved directly in research for the NIHR in relation to inclusion health.
He has worked more recently to share the good practice of Inclusion Health Specialist practices to mainstream primary care locally, developing incentivised training around a trauma informed approach in Salford.
