Emma C – Community Researcher, Justlife
Emma is a community researcher who draws on her lived experience of homelessness and mental health to drive community-led research and service improvement. She works with Justlife, a national homelessness charity that advocates for and supports people living in temporary accommodation. Through Justlife, Emma has contributed to a range of projects, including independently co-designing a study exploring women’s mental health during homelessness and housing transitions, and collaborating with peers on research exploring the impact of temporary accommodation on mental and physical health. She is also an active member of Common Ambition, working on co-production projects that ensure lived experience remains central to service and system change.
