Gemma Gowan

Partnerships Strategic Lead (Changing Futures), Plymouth City Council

Gemma Gowan has worked for 20 years across multiple public health projects focussed on community empowerment, partnerships and preventative interventions to improve health and social outcomes. She is a leader for the Changing Futures Plymouth Programme which works closely with local partners to enhance cultures and systems to best support those that experience multiple disadvantage and our communities. She is also an early-career researcher working with Plymouth Health Determinants Research Collaborative on research into Coordinated Community Responses for people at high risk of harm from domestic abuse.
