Katie Taylor

Director of Specialist Services, YMCA Together

Katie Taylor is a mental health Nurse with twenty-five years’ experience of working in the NHS in various roles. Based in Liverpool, Katie has always worked alongside vulnerable people and communities, specialising in working with people who are experiencing homelessness in addition to living with co morbid health needs.

In 2024 Katie was appointed as Director of Specialist Services at YMCA Together, where she leads mental health, domestic abuse, recovery and care services including Hestia House, a specialist residential care home developed to meet people who are experiencing homelessness and have a care need.

Katie is passionate about reducing barriers to care and isn’t afraid to challenge systems and processes to ensure people have every opportunity to live well.
