Michelle Farr

Senior Research Fellow, NIHR ARC West, University of Bristol

Michelle is a qualitative researcher, specialising in co-produced and participatory research, to implement evidence with communities and public service organisations to tackle health inequalities. She works in partnership with people who have lived experience of multiple disadvantage such as mental health issues, homelessness, violence or abuse and substance use challenges. She has an interdisciplinary academic background, having worked across health services, sociology, social policy and public services management. Before her academic career she worked in voluntary and community sector organisations, working with people with multiple needs (mental health, housing, substance use challenges, employment and training support).
