Naomi Hooper
Social Worker, Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust
Naomi qualified as a social worker in 2021 through the Think Ahead program, following 20 years of experience in community mental health. Over the past decade, she has specialised in assertive outreach and homelessness, building trusted relationships with individuals who often face the greatest barriers to care. Currently, Naomi is Team Manager for the Salford Inclusion Health Homeless Team at the GMMH Homeless Hub, where she leads efforts to ensure that marginalised clients are welcomed into mainstream services. Her practice is grounded in inclusion health, with a strong focus on equity, dignity, and empowerment. Naomi works closely with health providers, local authorities, and community organizations to champion innovative solutions such as Critical Time Intervention that address both immediate needs and long-term stability. At the heart of her work is a passion for breaking down barriers and creating pathways to recovery, resilience, and lasting change.
