Oluwakemi Ogunlana is a dedicated community advocate, researcher and charity professional with extensive experience supporting refugees, migrants, and marginalised communities in the UK.
With a background in accounting and finance, Oluwakemi holds a BSc in Psychosocial Community Work and is currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Social Work. Her academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to safeguarding, empowerment, and social justice. She combines strong organisational and project management skills with practical experience supporting underserved communities.
She previously worked with Doctors of the World as a Participation Manager, contributing to advocacy, service user engagement, and inclusive health access initiatives. In addition, she has played leadership roles in major public health research projects with University College London and has served as a trustee at Praxis Community Centre, advocating for the rights and wellbeing of migrants and refugees.
Passionate about inclusion and community development, she brings lived experience, professional expertise, and strong communication skills to every role she undertakes.
