Rebecca Halsey

Coproduction Service Coordinator, Changing Futures Bristol

Rebecca has had experience of advising services and systems in how to improve their approaches to better meet the needs of people with multiple disadvantage. This includes implementing more trauma-informed approaches within the My Team Around Me model, that has been developed by Changing Futures Bristol, delivering workshops to Shelter’s Women’s Action Group on each of the trauma informed principles and contributing to the development and implementation of the new Integrated Non-Custodial Service commissioned by NHS England Health and Justice, which provides alternatives to custodial sentences by addressing unmet health needs. Rebecca is a co-author on two peer-reviewed academic journal articles about how to implement trauma-informed practice within services that support people experiencing multiple disadvantage. Rebecca currently works at Changing Futures Bristol as Coproduction Service Coordinator.
