Sam Wright

National Research Lead, Change Grow Live | Researcher in Domestic Abuse, Criminal Justice and Complex Needs

Sam Wright has over 30 years of experience as a researcher. Since completing her PhD on women’s experiences of escaping domestic abuse in 1995, she has worked across voluntary, higher education and public sectors, evaluating a wide range of criminal justice and social care interventions for people with complex support needs. Sam currently works at Change Grow Live, where she is their National Research Lead – facilitating external research partnerships and undertaking internal evaluation projects. Prior to that she worked at Manchester Metropolitan University researching end of life care for people using alcohol and other drugs.
