Bill Bytheway-Jackson

Counsellor

St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice

Bill is a member of the British Association of Counselling Practitioners and qualified as a Person Centred Counsellor in 2007. Prior to the above Bill qualified and worked with CRUSE bereavement services. Alongside these he has gained experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and short term therapies. He has worked in both the Private and Public sector.

While studying he became a volunteer for NACRO a national social justice society for ex-offenders providing Counselling and support in an area where there was little emotional/psychological support. He was brought into direct contact with housing issues and homelessness and took on a further Counselling role with Chester Aid to the Homeless. It was during this time he became acutely aware of the impact of loss and bereavement upon a client group who are already disadvantaged.

Bill likes music and sport.

He is married with two grown children.
