Dr Rose Glennerster

Doctor

Royal United Hospital Bath

I completed my medical training at Brighton and Sussex Medical School and intercalated in Medical Ethics and Law at King’s College London. Throughout my training I have been involved in community-based projects and outreach healthcare schemes for deprived and socially vulnerable populations. I have also had experience of working with outreach teams abroad in South Africa and Tanzania during my gap year and America on my elective with Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program.

It has been a real privilege to build relationships and trust with people from a wide range of demographics and social circumstances outside of a clinical setting and gain an insight into their lives. It has inspired a long-term goal of trying to tackle healthcare inequality in my future career. Since starting work in Bath, I have continued to work closely with local homeless charities and am working on building links between community and healthcare services.
