Kate Gillespie has worked in the specialist housing and health sectors since 1991. She has held positions within both non-profits and local government, all focused on delivering quality interventions to socially excluded individuals.

Her expertise lies in integrated data management systems, project and people management, quality control and performance management. In 2013 she implemented Healthy Futures, a Department of Health funded homeless hospital discharge pilot for Derventio Housing Trust. Now in its third year the project has successfully gained CCG funding year on year due to its ability to prove outcomes and cost benefits to both the health economy and for individual patients. In addition she and the Healthy Futures team won the 2016 Guardian Public Sector Award for Excellence in Health and Social Care.

Kate now works for YMCA Derbyshire bringing her experience to their services for young people across the county.
