Athol has worked with Groundswell since 2003, taking on the role of Chief Executive in 2006. His previous employers include Cardboard Citizens, Amnesty International UK and National Homeless Alliance – the organisation from which Groundswell originated. Athol is a fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs and of the Clore Social Leadership Programme.
