Dr. Roncarati recently completed her Doctorate of Science from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health during the fall of 2016.  Her dissertation focused on examining mortality issues of the rough sleeper population in Boston. Jill also holds an MPH degree from Harvard Chan and a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant (PA) Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Jill worked as a PA and primary care provider at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) for ten years. During her tenure at BHCHP she worked with the Street Team, a multidisciplinary team who cares for rough sleepers, the majority of whom have tri-morbidity: co-occurring medical, mental health and substance use issues. In 2005 she started degrees at Harvard Chan to further investigate and change outcomes for the rough sleeper population such as premature morbidity. Dr. Roncarati will continue research as a Cancer Prevention Postdoctoral Fellow.
