Stephanie Barker

Stephanie Barker is a 3rd year PhD student at the University of Southampton researching the role and effectiveness of peer support within homelessness. She works with Dr Nick Maguire on various projects at the University and recently started a position at Ashford Place in London, evaluating their peer support scheme. For the second year, Stephanie is the President of the student society group Homed at the University of Southampton, collaborating with students and local homeless charities to educate students about homelessness, connect students to volunteering opportunities, and hold fundraisers to benefit the local homeless population. Stephanie completed her clinical training at Adler University in Chicago and is a registered member of the BACP
