Dr Briony Hudson is a Research Associate at Pathway and Marie Curie Palliative Care Research department at UCL. She received her doctorate in Health Psychology from The University of Surrey where she studied trauma and non –pharmacological interventions for pain and anxiety management.
Briony is the researcher on a qualitative research study exploring the issues and barriers experienced by homeless people with advanced illness, and those that work to support them, in accessing health care as they approach the end of life.
Prior to joining Pathway, Briony worked for the Institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital researching decision making and attitudes to research held by palliative care patients. Her interests include palliative care, addiction, access to health care, health promotion and patient experience.
