Nurse Practitioner and Outreach Lead

Great Chapel Street Medical Centre for the Homeless.

Maxine is the lead nurse at Great Chapel Street. She is also the Chair of the  London Network of Nurses and Midwives Homelessness Group and Vice Chair of Bridge the Gap London (Charity No 1160595). She has worked in a variety of acute and primary care settings in both high and low income contexts as well as expedition and civil disturbance medicine. She studied tropical nursing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where she also gained her Masters in Public Health with a sub-specialty in Health Services Management. She currently returns to LSHTM as a guest lecturer on the Diploma of Tropical Nursingcourse.
