Stan Burridge
EbE Project Lead
Pathway
Stan Burridge spent most of his childhood in the care system and has significant personal experience of homelessness. He gained work experience by volunteering for a number of organisations over the last two decades and has been part of many service user led initiatives and actions during that time.
Stan brings to Pathway, along with his wide range of personal insights, a unique talent of being able to engage with services users and service providers alike. Stan has developed a steady cohort of ‘Experts by Experience’ to participate in engagement activities including Pathway/Faculty of Homeless and Inclusion Health conferences. He has carried out research surveys for NHS partners and homeless sector organisations; compiled written reports, delivered lectures for a number of Universities and provided sessions to GP’s and healthcare providers as part of an accredited CPD learning framework.
Stan continues to facilitate focus groups for internal and external events, and supports a growing number of EbE’s to the Pathway conference, an event he calls the ‘showcase event of the year’
Above all Stan continues to ensure that the voices of homeless people continue to be at the centre of all that Pathway achieves.
