Suzanne Newbrook is a Clinical Educator and Programme Manager at Durham University. She has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years and is a Nurse Specialist in Emergency Care, Psychiatry and Medical Education. Suzanne has a focused interest in health inequalities and access to care. Since 2014 she has been the Programme Manager of an innovative pilot scheme funded by Health Education Northeast.

This programme gives fourth year medics the opportunity to undertake an unusually lengthy placement that’s integrates primary care with community health. Suzanne will explain the vision for the programme, how it was set up, promising outcomes, greater applicability, and future plans.
