David is an academic GP in Glasgow. He works as a part-time GP in the south of the city and does teaching and research – mostly related to social determinants of health and health inequalities – at the University of Glasgow.
David is the Academic Lead for the “GPs at the Deep End” project, involving GPs working in the most socio-economically deprived practices in Scotland. He has a BSc in International Health from UCL (2003), and a Master of Public Health (2012) and PhD (2018) from the University of Glasgow.
